Used by tourists staying in the Castiglione area and some local residents. The beach is relatively small and has a calm, slightly secluded character.

Context

The area around Castiglione della Pescaia and the Maremma has been subject to land reclamation and environmental management since the 19th century. Le Rocchette sits on the edge of the Diaccia Botrona nature reserve.
